About

I was born in Los Angeles, California, on Bastille Day 1976.
At the age of eighteen, I left the nest and went to college at UCSB in Santa Barbara, California, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies in 1999. I spent another two years in Santa Barbara, working as a teaching assistant and enjoying a life of unencumbered leisure.
In Septemeber 2001, I moved to New York to earn my masters and doctorate degrees in Cinema Studies. I finished the masters in 2003, and I will complete the latter… one of these days.
In the meantime, I enjoy road cycling, playing softball, following baseball, and imbibing on adult beverages. I also am a bit of junkie for techno gadgets and the news…
